In this video, the students discuss Lawrence Kohlberg's stages of moral development. They go though each of the three stages, and they give examples for each.
I find it vey fascinating that a human being's moral system changes so much throughout our lives. We all begin as egotistical and selfish little people that only care about our own personal wants and needs and then slowly grow and evolve into adults that become more focused on other people's opinions and desires which essentially shape our own morality. Also, it's good that this video went slightly more in depth into Kohlberg's stages of development and described all six stages.
I don't agree with how the people in the video say these are stages that children go through because most children do not encounter all of the stages. I especially disagree with stage 4 where children care less of what others think because there are some adults who still care about what their peers think of certain subjects, also some individuals stay one-sided and bias not allowing them to decide what universally benefits others.
Wow! i agree with this video. It's mind blowing how a person can know human morals by just studying and observing humans. I as a child went through these stages and im still going through them as i grow and become an adult. These video broke down the stages in a well fashionally manner and also went into details helping the viewers understand the concepts. Here is a video i recommend you watch on Kohlbergs stages, its also informative: http://youtu.be/GTzBrjxKHLg
